Spring 2026 basecamp recap
We welcomed Cohort 9 to Publika in Ghent for a week of science deep dives, business building, and founder community across food, materials, industry, and agriculture.

In early May, we welcomed Cohort 9 to Ghent for our latest biotope Basecamp, hosted at the iconic Publika. Over an intense first week, founders dove into science deep dives, business building sessions, and plenty of peer-to-peer exchange.
This cohort spans applications across food and cosmetics, materials and industry, and agriculture, all united by strong scientific foundations and a clear ambition to bring impactful biotech solutions to market.
Stay tuned to learn more about the startups selected by our investment committee!
