EveryCarbon
EveryCarbon brings waste management and chemical manufacturing together, using biomanufacturing to create sustainable materials for manufacturers.
EveryCarbon is rethinking the relationship between waste and material manufacturing. Its vision is a world where waste disposal and chemical production become part of the same process, creating a more circular and efficient way to make the building blocks used in everyday materials.
The company is developing a scalable biomanufacturing platform that uses waste-derived feedstocks to produce high-performance molecules for chemical and plastics manufacturers. By combining biotechnology with circular feedstocks, EveryCarbon aims to make molecules that have traditionally been costly or complex to produce more accessible at industrial scale.
This approach could open new possibilities for materials that have so far been limited to niche applications, while reducing reliance on conventional fossil-based production routes. At the same time, EveryCarbon is building partnerships across the value chain, from waste operators to manufacturers, to connect the supply of waste streams with demand for high-value chemical products.
EveryCarbon’s first product is ECOne™, a polyester designed for engineering applications where heat, moisture, mechanical stress, and durability make material performance critical.
“We think of ourselves as an industrial materials company rather than a green startup, with biology as our route to higher-performing plastics.”
